I have to admit that after seeing The Hunger Games for the first time, I wore my hair in a side-braid like Katniss Everdeen for about a month. She is easily my favorite character—strong, feisty, and fearless. Though I’ll always be on Team Katniss, some new promotional posters that don’t feature Katniss have definitely caught my eye.
The new batch of Hunger Games posters for the next movie, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1, focus on the men and women of the districts of Panem, calling those featured in the posters “District Heroes”. Of the districts featured in the posters, District 6, known as the Transportation District, is hands down my personal fave. Can you guess why? His pants are made of tires! Yes, that’s right, tires.
Tall, muscular, and tanned, the man in the District 6 poster is given the following description: “Thought to have gasoline pumping through his veins, Malcolm Kastel, 31, is devoted to District 6’s mission of keeping Panem moving.” And I must say he certainly does look devoted with his bulging muscles, stern eyes, and pants made of tires!
For those of you who are as excited as I am for the next movie, which comes out November 21, definitely check out the posters here. And seriously though, how can I snag a pair of those pants? I would definitely rock them with the signature Katniss braid. Would any of you want a pair?
